 Jakob Creighton is a Canadian actor, singer, writer, and arts educator. He is originally from Dartmouth, Nova Scotia. He holds a Bachelor of Music in Classical Voice from the Université de Moncton (class of 2018) and an MA Musical Theatre Performance from Mountview Academy in London, UK. His most recent stage credits include: Robert Martin in Emma: No One But Herself (Mountview, 2023, original cast), Performer in Feeling Mental Health (Caravan Theatre, 2022*), Paul Gordon in The Shadow: An Audio Play (Lions Den Theatre, 2021), Arthur in Frostbite (Villain's Theatre, Digital, 2020), David Herold/Ensemble in Assassins  (Whale Song Theatre, 2019), Giorgio/Chorus in The Gondoliers  (Opera Nova Scotia, 2019), Bob Cratchit in A Christmas Carol: The Musical (Atlantic Ballet Theatre, 2018), Dr. Fine/Dr. Madden in Next to Normal (Saints Alive Theatre, 2018), and Valentine/Ensemble in Mary Poppins (Capitol Theatre, 2018). As a writer, Jakob published his debut novella "For King and Country" on Amazon on January 1st 2020. 


As an arts educator, Jakob has worked for the Halifax Regional Centre of Education (2020-2021) and the Conseil scolaire acadien provincial (2018-2019). He has taught private voice and beginner piano lessons since 2014, and has taught in the private sector as well.
