Jakob is a stage and screen actor currently located in Halifax, Nova Scotia. He is mostly known for his stage work. Most recent stage credits include: Dr. Fine/Dr. Madden in Next to Normal (Saints Alive Theatre, 2018, Remount), Valentine/Ensemble in Mary Poppins (Capitol Theatre, 2018), Pan in Daphnis et Chloé​, Bob Cratchit/Ensemble in ​A Christmas Carol: The Musical (School of Atlantic Ballet, 2017), Dr. Fine/Dr. Madden in Next to Normal​ (Saints Alive Theatre, 2017), Chairman/Ensemble in Oliver!​ (Capitol Theatre, 2017), and Aeneas in ​Dido and Aeneas​ (Université de Moncton, 2017).


He most recently appeared on screen as an airport guest in the NSCC Student Film We're Doing a Roadie​ (2018), marking his first on screen speaking role.


As of June 2018, Jakob is represented by The Cassidy Group in Halifax, Nova Scotia.


Jakob has a Bachelor of Music in Classical Voice from Université de Moncton, and is completely bilingual (French and English).


Jakob trained at the Neptune Theatre School in Halifax, Nova Scotia in their Youth Performance Company from 2008 until 2012 (excluding 2009). He performed in their winter productions from 2010-2012.


Jakob is currently receiving coaching from Canadian actress, Danielle Benton, and has recently participated in workshops led by Siobhan Richardson (Intimacy Director), Julian Reeve (1st Broadway National Tour of "Hamilton" Musical Director), and Derek Mitchell (1st Broadway National Tour of "Hamilton" Resident Choreographer).
